Is mosquitoes a means to transmit the Corona virus in the summer
As the weather warms in the summer, the mosquito's lesion returns again, and although the mosquito bites are annoying enough, exposure to mosquito bites may raise our concern that this insect may be transmitted to the Coronavirus.
Given the long list of mosquito-borne diseases, including the Zika virus, malaria, dengue fever, West Nile Virus and Chikungunya virus, there is growing concern about the possibility of this insect being transmitted to the Coruna virus.
According to research conducted on April 15 at the Pro Publica Center, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) will begin investigating whether mosquito bites are a possible means of transmitting the Coronavirus. According to the researchers, the chances of infection with corona viruses by mosquitoes are very low.
Professor Lynn Boston of the Icon Health Center says it is highly unlikely that mosquitoes will transmit the virus from person to person.
She added: "Since mosquitoes feed on the blood of the person who bites them, the coronavirus must be in this person's blood, and it is transferred to the salivary glands of mosquitoes in order to be transmitted to other people."
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, there is currently no evidence that mosquitoes or ticks can spread the Corona virus, according to the MSN website.
